Norwich City are aiming to consolidate their place at the top of the Championship when playoff hopefuls Cardiff City visit Carrow Road on Saturday in a battle between the division’s two most in-form sides.
The Canaries are on a four-match winning run in which every game has finished 2-1, moving them three points clear at the summit of the standings.
But the Bluebirds are also in fine form after winning six of their last seven league games to climb into 10th place, three points outside the playoff spots.
In fact, Cardiff are the only team in better form than Norwich in that time, despite their painful 2-0 defeat to Welsh rivals Swansea last weekend.
Norwich are missing Tim Krul, Adam Idah and Onel Hernandez through injury.
For Cardiff, the injury list includes Lee Tomlin, Kieffer Moore and Jordi Osei-Tutu, but Joe Ralls returns from suspension.
