Tottenham have started the season relatively brightly, losing just one of their opening six league fixtures. There have been a few wobbles, though - not least the three-goal collapse against West Ham on matchday four - and Jose Mourinho will be hoping his side are at their clinical best when Brighton visit on Sunday.
A win should move them into the Champions League places, with Spurs currently fifth in the standings. A dismal 1-0 loss away to Royal Antwerp in the UEFA Europa League on Thursday will have dented confidence but Mourinho rarely lets his teams remain sloppy in back to back matches. Brighton, therefore, can expect fully focused opposition.
Graham Potter's men have been praised for their easy on the eye playing style over the past 12 months but have little to show for it in the early stages of the new season.
The Seagulls have won just one of their opening six matches, a 3-0 away win against Newcastle at the end of September, and will be hoping to double that count this evening. Brighton were unlucky to lose to Manchester United at Old Trafford the weekend following their only triumph and, despite their lowly status in the early season standings, fans will be quietly confident that a serious relegation battle can be avoided this campaign.
Potter has a decent squad to choose from, with Leandro Trossard and Neal Maupay providing plenty of headaches for defenders most weekends, but finding the right balance between defence and attack has often been the problem. Still, things are looking promising under the English coach's stewardship.
Kick-off is at 7.15pm GMT and the game is being shown on Sky Sports Box Office in the UK. See below for watching details where you are.
AND Premier League live stream best VPN: how to watch every game from anywhere in the world
Use a VPN to watch a Tottenham Hotspur vs Brighton live stream from outside your country
If you’re on holiday or just simply out of the country, your domestic on-demand services won’t work – the broadcaster knows exactly where you are from your IP address. Your access to the game will be automatically blocked, which is annoying if you’ve paid a subscription fee and don't want to use an illegal, buffering stream that makes you miss another Jamie Vardy goal. And that's where we recommend ExpressVPN (more on which below).
All you need to do is get a Virtual Private Network (VPN) to get beyond such aggravations (assuming it complies with your broadcaster’s T&Cs). A VPN creates a private connection between your device and the internet, meaning suppliers can’t work out where you are and what you’re doing. The info going to and from is entirely encrypted.
There are plenty of options out there, including:
ExpressVPN
Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
FourFourTwo’s brainy office mates TechRadar love its super speedy connections, trustworthy security and the fact it works with Android, Apple, Roku, Amazon Fire TV, PS4 and loads more. You also get a money-back guarantee, 24/7 support and it's currently available for a knockdown price. Go get it!
NordVPN
Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
A cheaper option; its cheapest package current averages at a wallet-friendly £2.29 per month.
IPVanish
Including a 30-day, money-back guarantee
Slightly more expensive but supports up to 10 devices, and you can pay for it every three months if you need to.
