Manchester United and Manchester City are both interested in signing Everton starlet Jack Rodwell next summer, according to reports.
The 18-year-old has already made 27 Premier League appearances for David Moyes' men, with the youngster proving a calming influence either in central defence or defensive midfield.
Rodwell's consistently mature performances led him to him being called up to the England U21 squad this summer for the European Championships in Sweden, with the Toffee netting against eventual winners Germany in the group stages.
And, according to the Daily Mail, the talented teenager is attracting interest from both Manchester clubs, with City boss Mark Hughes believed to have sent scouts to watch Rodwell's displays on a regular basis.
However, a move from either the Blues or cross-town rivals United is not expected to be forthcoming until the end of the current campaign, with Everton unlikely to welcome any interest in their prize asset beforehand.
