Tevez close to hitting top form
Manchester City forward Carlos Tevez - named the Premier League Player of the Month for December - believes he is close to hitting top form after scoring four in his last four league games.
The Argentine international has proved a success at Eastlands since his move from city rivals United in the summer.
After a patchy start to the campaign, Tevez has now scored 12 goals in all competitions making him the Blues’s top scorer.
City entertain Blackburn Rovers on Monday looking to maintain their 100 percent record under new boss Roberto Mancini.
And Tevez has revealed his hopes of continuing his own prolific run.
"I'm feeling great now," he said in The Sun.
"I've had to overcome a couple of injuries, so I didn't have any kind of pre-season. But I'm feeling good, strong and delighted with where I am."
Team-mate Pablo Zabaleta also praised the 33-year-old’s impact on the team.
