Tevez stay 'impossible' says Boca president

Boca Juniors president Daniel Angelici feels it is "almost impossible" to envisage Carlos Tevez remaining at the club as he considers a lucrative offer to move to the Chinese Super League.

Shanghai Shenhua are reported to have put forward a contract that would make the former Manchester City and Juventus forward the highest-paid footballer in the world.

"I want him to stay but you see the numbers and the proposal from China is very strong," he told La Red.

"It's almost impossible he continues [at Boca].

"I have a very close relationship with Carlos and my hunch is that it is very difficult not to leave."

The ex-Real Madrid man is out of contract in June and the club president added: "We are talking to his agent but he has an offer from China.

"He told us he would prioritise Boca [but] If the offer they are handling is effective we cannot compete.

"If the Chinese come with that money, we have to let them all go."
