City will hope that their dreams of a domestic treble remain alive when they travel to Wembley next month. They have already beaten Arsenal in the Carabao Cup final and they are also aiming to pip the Gunners to the Premier League title.

Guardiola's side will have only two matches of the league season remaining when they take on Chelsea at Wembley, as they aim to complete their second domestic treble since the Catalan manager's arrival in 2016.

The FA Cup represents Chelsea's last chance of salvaging some silverware from a disappointing season, which has seen them sack two managers and fall off the pace in the race for Champions League qualification.

The Blues fired Liam Rosenior last week just 106 days into the Englishman's tenure at Stamford Bridge, having seen their campaign collapse amid a run of seven defeats in eight games.

There is a chance that Chelsea may not even qualify for Europe via their league position, so victory at Wembley next month is extra important as it would guarantee a place in next season's Europa League.

And the Blues know what it takes to win at the new Wembley, lifting the FA Cup five times - and the Carabao Cup twice - since the national stadium reopened in 2007.
