Arsenal manager Arsene Wenger has admitted he believes Gunners legend Dennis Bergkamp would make a great coach, but has denied reports linking the Dutchman with a return to North London.
The retired forward wowed the Arsenal fans during his 11-year spell at Highbury, netting 120 goals in 411 appearances.
Speculation has suggested the former Dutch international had been approached about a possible return to the club but had turned down an offer of a coaching position.
Wenger, however, denied Arsenal have discussed a deal with Bergkamp, but refused to rule out a possible move for the former Gunners favourite at some point in the future.
“I think Dennis Bergkamp will be a very good coach but at the moment we haven’t looked for anybody,” he said.
