Jovetic: I want to stay at Fiorentina

Fiorentina forward Stevan Jovetic insists he is committed to the Serie A outfit, and has not discussed a move to any other club

The 19-year-old has already netted seven league goals in 36 appearances for la Viola and eight in 12 outings for Montenegro.

But he shot to stardom in Fiorentina's recent Champions League win over Liverpool, with Jovetic scoring both goals in the 2-0 victory at the Stadio Artemio Franchi.

Speculation soon surfaced linking the 'Montenegrin Messi' with moves to Manchester United, Chelsea, Arsenal, Manchester City, Real Madrid, Juventus and Bayern Munich.

And although the player's agent has placed a 25 million euro price tag on the youngster's head, Jovetic himself is adament he has no intention of departing and has not spoken to anyone regarding a transfer.

"If the directors come to me and ask me to stay here in Florence for a long time, I would say OK I will," he told Rai Sport.

"I have read in the newspapers that my name was connected with Chelsea, Manchester United and Real Madrid.

"But I promise that I have never talked with them. I want to stay here and I'm not interested in anything else."
