Liverpool are monitoring the progress of Sampdoria midfielder Vladimir Koman, according to reports.
The 20-year-old Hungarian has made just four league appearances for the Serie A side since graduating from the Genoa outfit's youth ranks.
However, he has gained recognition following loan spells at both Avellino and Bari.
And the youngster recently caught the eye of scouts at the U20 World Cup, scoring five goals in six outings as Hungary finished third following a semi-final defeat to eventual winners Ghana in Egypt.
As a result, speculation has surfaced in the Mirror linking the starlet with a move to Liverpool.
The Merseysiders have signed several talented Hungarian youngsters in the past, including strikers Krisztian Nemeth and Andras Simon - currently on loan at AEK Athens and Cordoba respectively - and goalkeeper Peter Gulacsi, who was loaned out to Hereford United last season before going on to save three penalties in the U20 World Cup Third Place Play-off against Costa Rica.comments
