Pep Guardiola ‘so proud’ of Kevin De Bruyne after PFA player of the year win

Manchester City boss Pep Guardiola hailed the contribution of Kevin De Bruyne after the Belgium midfielder was named the Professional Footballers’ Association’s player of the year.

The 29-year-old becomes the first male City player to collect the accolade, with previous winner Virgil Van Dijk also shortlisted again for his exploits in Liverpool’s title-winning 2019/20 campaign.
