Pulis confirms interest in Chelsea skipper Terry
West Brom are pondering a move for Chelsea defender John Terry when his contract expires at the end of the 2016-17 campaign.
John Terry could be thrown a Premier League lifeline by Tony Pulis after the West Brom boss confirmed he was keen to sign the defender ahead of next season.
The centre-back's contract at Stamford Bridge expires at the conclusion of the campaign and he is unlikely to be offered a new deal after losing his starting berth under Antonio Conte.
West Brom already made an enquiry over Terry's availability in January, but were told the 36-year-old was not interested in leaving Chelsea halfway through the season.
However, Pulis has made it clear West Brom are ready to give it another try come June.
"From what I could gather in January he wanted to stay with Chelsea and be part of going out as a champion," Pulis told reporters.
"If he becomes available in the summer we will sit down and have a little think about what we have got and what we have not got.
"And we will take it from there."
