Luis Miguel Echegaray is a football/soccer writer, author, analyst and host who also specializes on sports content for the U.S. Latino/Hispanic and young audience. 

He has formerly worked at ESPN, CBS Sports, Sports Illustrated, Telemundo, The Guardian and has recently contributed for Yahoo Sports. 

Most recently at ESPN, he was a main soccer voice for SportsCenter, ESPN FC and ESPN Deportes covering all aspects of soccer including the Premier League, Champions League, MLS and the men and women's World Cup - both in English and Spanish. He conducted the first one-on-one interview with Lionel Messi upon his arrival to Inter Miami.  

At CBS Sports, he co-created and hosted ¡Qué Golazo! podcast and YouTube show and served as an analyst for CBS Sports HQ. 

At Sports Illustrated, Luis Miguel co-hosted their premium soccer show Planet Fútbol TV and led Latino/Spanish content for the entire site.

LME is Peruvian, but just like Paddington, he immigrated to England when he was a kid in the early 90s. As it happens, he also loves marmalade sandwiches. 

Shortly after moving to the UK, he became a lifelong Aston Villa supporter.
