Alex Scott has rejected a new contract at Bournemouth amid strong interest from several Premier League clubs including Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United.
The England Under-21 midfielder is a target for multiple Premier League big-hitters this summer, with the Cherries turning down an approach from Arsenal last month.
Bournemouth are determined to retain Scott as they prepare to embark on their maiden European campaign in 2026/27, in the Europa League, but this latest development will only increase interest in the 22-year-old.

Scott has become one of the most sought-after young talents in the Premier League since signing for Bournemouth from Championship side Bristol City for £25million in 2023.
He helped England win the European Under 21 Championship in 2025 and received his first senior call-up last November before joining Thomas Tuchel's squad for their pre-World Cup 2026 camp in Florida, although he is yet to make his debut.
Scott played 37 Premier League games last season to help Bournemouth qualify for Europe with a sixth-place finish, the highest in the club's history, but he has now rejected the contract offer that had been on the table for at least two months, according to BBC Sport.
His decision is likely to put several top-flight teams on alert, with Chelsea, Manchester City, Manchester United and Tottenham Hotspur joining champions Arsenal in holding an interest in the Cherries star.
United have even made Scott one of their top summer transfer targets, despite Bournemouth insisting he is not for sale.
The midfielder has two years left on his Cherries deal and could command up to £80m, but the report adds that the south coast club are under no pressure to let him leave after receiving well over £200m in transfer fees since last summer.
Dean Huijsen, Milos Kerkez, Illia Zabarnyi and Dango Ouattara all departed in the summer 2025 transfer window, before Antoine Semenyo joined Manchester City in January.
However, Scott's decision to turn down a new deal could test Bournemouth's resolve, with any transfer fee likely to eclipse the club-record £65m they received for Semenyo.
The youngster was among the travelling party as the Cherries squad flew to Austria on Monday for their 10-day pre-season camp.
It is a chance for new manager Marco Rose to step up his preparations for the new campaign after replacing Andoni Iraola at the end of last season.
