Alex Charlton

A former teacher and head of year, Alex is a freelance writer and commentator, currently working as a content editor for DAZN News and UEFA and has also been featured in the Roker Report, Richmond & Twickenham Times and The Sentinel. Away from writing, Alex can be heard commentating at Fulham for blind and vision-impaired spectators, as well as covering global leagues for GB Vision. In March 2026, Alex was awarded the Podcast of the Year Award at the NCTJ Awards for Excellence for his radio documentary Is Primary School PE Fit for Purpose?
