Celtic humbled, Rangers stunned

Celtic suffered one of their worst domestic nights for decades when they were humiliated 4-0 by relegation-threatened St Mirren in the Scottish Premier League on Wednesday.

St Mirren went into the game second-last in the table but two goals each for Andy Dorman and Steven Thompson gave them thier first home win over Celtic for 21 years.

Celtic are now 10 points behind leaders Rangers having played two games more.

There was little crowing from their Old Firm rivals, however, as they too had a bad night when a brave last-minute goal by Dave Robertson gave Dundee United a 1-0 home victory in the Scottish Cup quarter-finals to end Rangers' treble hopes.
