Although he is from Ottawa, Canada, his football speciality is the Schwiizer Nati. In a brief, undistinguished youth career, he played for the same club that later produced Jonathan David. His first book, Scotty Davidson: The Extraordinary Life and Mysterious Death of Canada's Forgotten Hockey Hero, will be published in fall 2026.
