Agent: No Dzeko deal this Christmas

The Bosnian goal-getter revealed on Tuesday that he remained keen on joining Serie A giants Milan, who were expected to recruit the 23-year-old during the close-season, only for Wolfsburg to refuse the Rossoneri permission to agree a deal.

Manchester United supremo Sir Alex Ferguson is now ready to step us his interest in the front-man, having been impressed by his goal-scoring display in the Wolves' 2-1 Champions League defeat at Old Trafford, according to recent speculation.

However, Dzeko's representitve, Irfan Redzepagic, has insisted that nothing has changed regarding the striker's future, and that he expects him to remain in Germany for at least another seven months.

"The contacts with Milan and Wolfsburg go back to the summer. Therefore its not possible to talk about a transfer as there is no real conditions," he told Calciomercato.it.

"The player has a contract with Wolfsburg and he is busy in the Bundesliga.

"As things stand, I can exclude a January move."
