Henry: Ronaldo better than Messi

Barcelona striker Thierry Henry believes Manchester United winger Cristiano Ronaldo is currently better than team-mate Lionel Messi because he has helped his team achieve more success. The Catalans have destroyed almost every team that has crossed their path so far this season, with Pep Guardiola's side favourites to win both the La Liga title and Copa del Rey, while they face Chelsea in the Champions League semi-finals. And despite Messi continuing to wow world football with his breathtaking skills and solo goals, the former Arsenal talisman maintains that the Red Devils' World Player of the Year - who scored an astounding 40-yard winner at Porto on Wednesday night - is better than the pocket-sized Argentine. “The greatness of a player is measured by the titles he has helped his team conquer," Henry told Record.  "Therefore, I have to recognise that Cristiano Ronaldo is better than Leo Messi.

“When Messi is playing well, he can do things that no-on else can, but I repeat, at least right now, Ronaldo is the best. In the future we will see.”
