Stoilov adds three to Bulgaria squad
SOFIA - Bulgaria coach Stanimir Stoilov has added three home-based players to complete his squad for next month's 2010 World Cup Group Eight qualifier against Ireland.
Levski Sofia defender Zhivko Milanov, CSKA Sofia defender Yordan Todorov and Litex Lovech midfielder Radostin Kishishev will join Bulgaria's training camp after this weekend's domestic league matches.
Last week, Stoilov named 17 overseas-based players with English Premier League strikers Dimitar Berbatov, Martin Petrov and Valeri Bojinov returning to the squad after recovering from injuries.
Amkar Perm defender Zahari Sirakov pulled out of the provisional squad due to a stomach problem while Energie Cottbus striker Dimitar Rangelov is still doubtful for the Ireland match on June 6 with an ankle injury.
Bulgaria are third in the group with seven points from five matches. Italy top the standings with 14 points from six matches, followed by Ireland on 12. The three teams are still undefeated.
