Vidic agent rubbishes Barca reports

The 27-year-old has made more than 100 league appearances since arriving from Spartak Moscow in 2006, scoring eight goals and, alongside Rio Ferdinand, forming one of the most solid defensive partnerships in Premier League history.

However, the Serbian international - who has 40 caps for his country - was believed to be heading out of the Old Trafford door behind Cristiano Ronaldo and Carlos Tevez, after his representitive Paolo Fabbri was quoted as saying that Vidic was keen on a switch to the Camp Nou.

However, Fabbri has now insisted that the words never left his mouth, and that the defender is happy at United.

"This is not true. I never said these things. Nemanja is happy in Manchester," he said.

"If Barcelona do make an offer for him then it is up to United to make a decision."
