AC Milan threaten to pull out of Supercoppa after cancelled flight
Adriano Galliani says cancellations on their flight to Doha could prompt AC Milan to pull out of the Supercoppa Italiana against Juventus.
AC Milan have warned they may refuse to face Juventus in Friday's scheduled Supercoppa Italiana after their flight to Qatar was cancelled.
The Supercoppa is due to take place in Doha, although reports in Italy on Tuesday have suggested that the Rossoneri's flight to the Gulf nation had been affected by technical problems.
And club CEO Adriano Galliani says that any further delays when they attempt to travel on Wednesday will put them at a serious disadvantage to Juve.
He told ANSA: "We have suffered a serious sporting damage.
"Juventus are already at Doha and we could arrive there only in the night, only having time for a training session the day before the match."
ANSA's report suggested that Milan will refuse to fly if further issues hit their travel plans.
