Bojan open to loan move offers

But with, boss, Pep Guardiola often preferring Thierry Henry, Samuel Eto'o and Lionel Messi as his attacking trio, the former Barcelona skipper is believed to be willing to allow Krkic to go out on loan next season.

Tottenham are thought to be one of a string of clubs interested in securing his services. And although the young Spaniard - who has a Serbian father - has admitted that a loan move next season would interest him, he is determined to become a permanent fixture in the Barca first-team.

"I came back thinking that I would have more time, be in the team more often but this is how things are and I am not unhappy," he told EFE.

"I am calm because I am continuing to improve and understand what being part of a winning team means. I am experiencing the other side and seeing how things work while playing less.

"But it is difficult to play when you are on the bench and Messi, Henry and Eto'o are out on the pitch, three of the best players in the world.

"But what is important is to be happy with your work and to keep feeling positive and do everything you can to play. Then the coach has to choose his best team and the decision is no longer down to you. In a squad of 21 players there is a very high level.

"This club has always been very special for me and I hope to stay here for many years to come. Nobody has ever presented me with the chance to go out on loan, but if one day that chance came we could talk about it."
