Brazilian set to snub Blues for Serie A
Werder Bremen's Brazilian star Diego is set to snub a possible summer move to either Chelsea or Manchester City, after admitting that he is desperate to join Serie A outfit Juventus.
The 24-year-old attacking midfielder has lit up the Bundesliga since joining Bremen in 2006, netting more than 30 league goals for the club, as well as earning 28 caps for his country.
And despite Real Madrid, Chelsea and Manchester City believed to be interested in the former Santos man, the player's father and agent has revealed it is the Old Lady of Turin that Diego has his heart set on.
“He wants Juve. In the Bianconeri jersey he would win the Balon d’Or," Djair Da Cunha told Tuttosport.
“The messages of Juventus supporters have touched my son. He dreams of a club that wins in Europe.
“I would be happy if the deal with Werder Bremen takes off. If it's €10m, €20m or €30m, that has to be decided by the general manager Klaus Allofs.”
