Chelsea captain Terry wanted at Bournemouth

John Terry will end his career-long association with Chelsea at the end of the season, and Harry Arter would like to see him join Bournemouth.

Chelsea captain Terry's impending departure was announced in April, with his 22 years at Stamford Bridge set to come to an end when his contract expires at the end of June.

"I think the way the way we have progressed, we are a club on the up. We are looking to improve every year and the only way we will do that is by getting good players in," Arter told the Bournemouth Echo.

"If John is interested in coming here then I have no doubt the club would love to bring him in.

"I am sure he will have plenty of people interested in him but if it is something both parties want to do then, hopefully, it will happen."
