Missiles mar Osasuna-Malaga match
Referee Carlos Clos Gomez, who sent four players off, said objects such as balls of aluminium foil, cups and empty plastic bottles were thrown from different parts of the Reyno de Navarra stadium throughout the game.
"In the 89th minute, the match was held up briefly when Malaga's number five (Albert Luque) was struck by an unidentified object," he said.
"At the end of the match, when we were making our way to the dressing rooms, a linesman was hit by a two-euro coin on the right arm ... and a number of seat cushions landed on the field of play without hitting anyone."
Osasuna had three players and their coach Jose Antonio Camacho sent off, and their physiotherapist sent from the bench, while Malaga played the whole second half with 10-men.
Malaga are fifth and pushing for a place in Europe next season. Osasuna are five points above the relegation places in 15th.
