Modric out for fortnight with groin injury
Croatian Luka Modric will be sidelined for two weeks with a groin injury, his club Tottenham Hotspur said.
"An MRI scan has revealed that Luka Modric has suffered a partially torn groin muscle," a club statement said.
The international midfielder was substituted at halftime of the 2-1 defeat by Fulham in the Premier League on Saturday.
Tottenham have also parted company with first-team goalkeeping coach Hans Leitert, the Premier League club announced on their website.
The Austrian, author of a book entitled The Art of Goalkeeping or The Seven Principles Of The Masters, joined the club in the close season.
Tottenham's goalkeeping position has come under scrutiny because of the erratic performances of Brazilian Heurelho Gomes.
