Andy Reid lands under-18s role with Republic of Ireland

Former Republic of Ireland and Nottingham Forest midfielder Andy Reid has been appointed as head coach of his nation’s under-18s team.

Reid, who won 29 senior caps for Ireland and was part of the team which won the European Under-16s Championships in 1998, is currently working towards his UEFA Pro Licence and will replace Jim Crawford in the role.
