Colombia lift colours ban on away fans

BOGOTA - Colombia will lift a ban on away fans wearing or carrying their team's colours which was implemeted this month in a bid to curb violence, the Dimayor league said.

It said police found the ban, which is to be waived in mid-September, hindered them in singling out known hooligans but that a ban on fans buying block tickets for away games would still stand.
