Ferguson linked with Feghouli

Manchester United will sign Grenoble youngster Sofiane Feghouli in January, according to reports in France.

The 19-year-old midfielder has made 55 league appearances for the Ligue 1 club since breaking onto the first-team scene in 2007, netting three times.

The France U21 international - dubbed the latest 'New Zidane' in his homeland - has previously been linked with moves to Liverpool, Barcelona and Inter Milan.

And although he had pledged his future to the Grenoble cause in the past, the starlet is now reportedly unsettled at the club following their catastrophic start to the campaign - losing all seven of their opening league games - and recently hit out at the fans for their poor support.

As a result, Old Trafford supremo Sir Alex Ferguson is believed to be keen on adding Feghouli to his ranks when the winter transfer window opens.

Should he sign, the youngster will team up with 20-year-old Gabriel Obertan, who joined United from Bordeaux in the summer.
