Hege Riise appointed head coach of GB team for Tokyo Olympics

England Women interim boss Hege Riise has been appointed as head coach of the Great Britain team for this summer’s Tokyo Olympics, the Football Association has announced.

The Norwegian was put in temporary charge of the Lionesses after Phil Neville stepped down as boss in January, and subsequently oversaw a 6-0 win against Northern Ireland in a friendly at St George’s Park last month.
