Leeds sign striker Grot after Wood sale

Leeds United have completed the signing of teenage striker Jay-Roy Grot for a reported £1.5million.

Grot, 19, signed a four-year deal at Elland Road on Thursday after joining from NEC Nijmegen in Leeds' first addition since selling star striker Chris Wood to Burnley for a reported fee of £15m.

"I am very happy, this is such a big club and this is a big step in my career, I am delighted to signed for Leeds United," said Grot, who will wear number 11 and is Leeds' 13th addition of the transfer window.

"It was been my dream to play in England and so to do that at a club like Leeds is really exciting."
