Manchester United's former Tottenham Hotspur duo Dimitar Berbatov and Michael Carrick face late fitness tests before Saturday's visit to White Hart Lane.

Cristiano Ronaldo returns after missing Wednesday's Champions League draw with AaB Aalborg but striker Wayne Rooney and defender Patrice Evra are both suspended.

Middlesbrough defenders Justin Hoyte and Andrew Taylor are both doubtful for Saturday's match at home to Arsenal with knee injuries.

Centre-back David Wheater is suspended, striker Mido and midfielder Gary O'Neil are both out, but Robert Huth (ankle) and Chris Riggott (hamstring) could return from injury.
