Zico: I want to manage in Premier League

Brazilian legend Zico has revealed his desire to one day work in England. The current CSKA Moscow coach was linked with the Newcastle job following the resignation of Kevin Keegan, and has admitted he still has an eye on working in the Premier League. “In principle, I’d like to coach in England,” the Espana 82 hero says in an exclusive interview with FourFourTwo. “It’s great football – I like the style of play a lot. But what’s most important to me is that I carry on working.” Zico has enjoyed success since turning his hand to management, and could be on the radar of a number of clubs who are on the lookout for a new manager in the summer. “They linked me with Newcastle, the job at Manchester City and other clubs," he says. "When your name comes up…you never know where the truth lies, so you have to be wary of it.” Zico won the Asia Cup with Japan in 2004 – and in the last two years he has achieved back-to-back league and cup doubles in the Turkish and Uzbekistan leagues with Fenerbache and Bunyodkor respectively.
