Cisse added to France squad

PARIS - Panathinaikos striker Djibril Cisse has been added to the France squad for Wednesday's friendly against Spain because of fitness doubts over Louis Saha, coach Raymond Domenech said on Sunday.

"We have a little doubt about Louis Saha who will come to the training camp on Monday so that we can see how he is doing. That is why we asked Djibril to come as well," Domenech told France 2 channel.

Everton's Saha is suffering from a sore thigh, according to the L'Equipe website. He did not play in Everton's 2-1 loss to Tottenham on Sunday.

Saha had been recalled more than three years after he earned his last cap for France in a 1-0 win against Greece in a friendly in November 2006.

Cisse, 28, last played for France in a 2-0 win against Ecuador in a friendly in May 2008. He has scored nine goals from 37 internationals.
