Inter Milan will rekindle their interest in Atletico Madrid forward Sergio Aguero in January, according to reports in Italy.
The 21-year-old has netted 44 league goals in 117 appearances for the Vicente Calderon side since arriving from Independiente in 2006, as well as winning 20 caps for Argentina.
Speculation earlier this summer tipped the highly-rated goal-getter with moves to Inter, Chelsea and Manchester United, only for the rojiblancos' club president, Enrique Cerezo, to insist they had no intention of selling either Aguero or fellow striker Diego Forlan.
Indeed, the transfer window slammed shut with neither forward departing for pastures new, with Cerezo believed to have slapped a €60 million price tag on Aguero's head.
However, according to Calciomercato.it, the Nerazzurri are now considering making a move for the Argentine in January.
San Siro supremo Jose Mourinho is thought to be keen on recruiting at least one new front-man during the mid-season break, with Cameroonian Samuel Eto'o set to miss a month of action due to the African Cup of Nations.
While close-season signing Diego Milito is currently sitting on the sidelines nursing an injury.comments
