MADRID - European champions Spain are planning to play three friendlies in the weeks leading up to next year's World Cup in South Africa, two at home and one away, the nation's football federation (RFEF) said on Tuesday.
The matches in Spain will be on May 29 and June 8. The away game is planned for June 5 after a four-day training camp at a yet-to-be-determined location abroad, the RFEF said on their website.
The Spain squad will travel to South Africa on June 10 and train at the Potchefstroom Campus of North-West University. Their first game is on June 16 against Switzerland. Chile and Honduras are also in their group.comments
