Joe Baker is a freelance football writer specialising in Dutch football, having lived in Amsterdam since 2020. 

After previously running his own Dutch football blog 'The Oranje' and writing for Football Oranje, the award-winning English-language Dutch football website, he is now a regular contributor to This is Anfield and has been published in other fanzines including The Mag. 

Outside of his attempts to somehow still make it as a versatile "ball playing" defender and an obsession with memorising squads and football facts, Joe has also contributed to various podcasts as a Dutch football special guest. These include RedmenTV, All Villa No Filler and the Total Saints Podcast.
