Arda, Sahin, Calhanoglu lead Turkey's provisional Euro 2016 squad

Nuri Sahin has been called up to Turkey's provisional Euro 2016 squad despite having been plagued by injuries this season.

The Borussia Dortmund midfielder had to wait until February 28 to make his first appearance of the campaign after a persistent tendon problem, managing just six subsequent starts in the Bundesliga.

Sahin joins Barcelona midfielder Arda Turan and Bayer Leverkusen star Hakan Calhanoglu in coach Fatih Terim's provisional midfield selection ahead of the friendly matches with England and Montenegro.

The surprise inclusion in the squad is 18-year-old Emre Mor, who has been called up for the first time after catching the eye with his performances for Nordsjaelland.

Experienced Bayer Leverkusen defender Omer Toprak has been left out.
