Klose reveals Liverpool appeal

The 31-year-old has scored goals consistently throughout his career, netting 44 and 53 in the league for previous clubs Kaiserslautern and Werder Bremen prior to signing on the dotted line at the Allianz Arena.

The Polish-born goal-getter has scored a further 20 in 55 Bundesliga outings since joining the German giants in 2007.

And although he insisted that he is happy to stay put for the foreseeable future, he admitted that two teams that do appeal to him are Liverpool and Inter Milan, who signed Brazilian defender Lucio from Bayern during the close-season.

"I am very happy at Bayern Munich and I intend to stay," the striker, who has 48 goals in 92 caps for Germany and won the 2006 World Cup Golden Shoe, told Kicker.

"But it is normal that in Europe, there are other big clubs of the highest level.

"I have two teams that I follow with pleasure and curiosity.

"In England, it is Liverpool and in Italy, I like the Inter of [Jose] Mourinho, who I consider to be a great coach."
