Loan system flawed, says Wenger

Wenger is particularly concerned with players unable to play against their parent club, claiming the system is flawed - with Arsenal set to face an Everton side at Goodison Park consisting of Manchester City's Gareth Barry and Chelsea's Romelu Lukaku. The Frenchman said the loan should be a total one - that is, the player is eligible to play against his parent club - to protect the integrity of the league.

"I believe that if you want to continue the system we have to make them available against the teams that loaned them out - or the system is not defensible," Wenger said.
