Pjanic refutes Benzema reports
Lyon midfielder Miralem Pjanic has rubbished reports claiming he said team-mate Karim Benzema was close to joining Manchester United.
The 19-year-old forward was quoted by Bosnian website Sportsport on Tuesday as saying that:
"Benzema is nearly gone to Old Trafford.
"The English club are willing to pay €45million [£38million] for him and it is just a question of the day when he will move to England."
However, Pjanic has since insisted that he has said nothing of the sort.
"I have not granted any interview to the media," he told Lyon Capital.
"I do not know any other answer to say to you because I said nothing."
