Tony Pulis has confirmed talks are due to start over a contract extension that would commit his future to Premier League surprise package West Brom.
Pulis' side sit eighth in the table ahead of Saturday's trip to Everton, who are a place above them in the league, and West Brom have already reached the 40-point mark that effectively guarantees survival for another season.
The Welshman's current deal is due to expire in 2018 but chairman John Williams is keen to get Pulis tied to a longer contract, although the manager is in no hurry to agree terms with the club's Chinese owner, Guochuan Lai.
"I'll sit down with John and we'll have a chat," Pulis told a pre-match press conference. "He's coming up to Everton this weekend.
"I'll sit down and have a chat, but there's no rush or problems in anything we do here. John keeps me in touch with what the Chinese are thinking.
"The Chinese owners, Mr Lai and all them, stay in touch with John so there's good communication between them. I think Mr Lai is over the the Arsenal game as well - and all the Chinese contigent."

Pulis confirmed winger Matt Phillips will miss the trip to Goodison Park as he is still recovering from a hamstring injury that has kept him out for a month, while the manager is considering rotating his team for the game.
"Matty Phillips won't be ft and that's a disappointment because we thought he would be fit for the Everton game," Pulis added. "He's been a big miss for us in respect of what he brings to the team. That's a disappointment.
"We have one or two knocks, but I think they'll be okay. If I'm going to make changes it will be for the fact that maybe one or two need a little bit more of a rest this time round."
