Berlusconi confident of bagging Adebayor
AC Milan president Silvio Berlusconi says there is a good chance the Rossoneri will sign Arsenal striker Emmanuel Adebayor at the end of the season. The Togolese front-man was a target for the San Siro giants a year ago, only for the striker to eventually agree a new deal with Arsene Wenger's side.
However, the former Monaco man has been the subject of criticism from the Gunners' support and former players in recent weeks, with the North London outfit failing to win a trophy for a fourth consecutive season.
Former Arsenal full-back Lee Dixon revealed he believes his old club should dispense with the striker's services at the end of the season, slamming the goal-getter's performances and attitude in the Emirates Stadium outfit's Champions League semi-final exit to Manchester United.
And amid reports suggesting Chelsea may move for the forward in the summer as a potential replacement for Didier Drogba, AC Milan's head-honcho has hinted his side may renew their interest in his signature.
"There is a good chance that we can get Adebayor," he said.
