Terms and Conditions relating to competiton to win Manchester United Carling Cup tickets.
Match Tickets Prize Draw
Manchester United Ltd and Manchester United Football Club Ltd (“Manchester United”) are the promoters of the prize draw.
The prize shall be two tickets to see Manchester United play Derby County in a location to be decided by Manchester United.
Travel and hospitality is not included as part of the prize.
A winner will be chosen at random and will be contacted by telephone, email and/or post (depending on what contact info we hold). If we cannot contact the winner within 48 hours of a winner being drawn (making reasonable efforts), then that winner forfeits the right to any prize and another entrant will be drawn for that prize.
The draw is not open to employees of Manchester United or their relatives or friends.
The prizes are non-transferable, and no cash alternative are available. If a winner is unable or unwilling to accept the prize (e.g. if he/she is not free to attend the match), subsequent draws will take place until a new winner is found who is able/willing to accept the prize.
The winner (and his/her guardian if under 16) will be requested for their consent to the following: (i) for the winner’s name to be disclosed to any person requesting that Manchester United confirm the identity of the prize winner; and (ii) for the winner’s name and/or photograph to be published for promotional purposes.
Subject to paragraph 8 above, details of the prize draw winners will be made available upon request from Manchester United Ticketing & Membership Services, Old Trafford, Sir Matt Busby Way, Manchester, M16 0RA six weeks after the closing date (subject to data protection legislation).
Entry into the prize draw confirms your acceptance of these rules.
Manchester United reserves the right to refuse entry to, or refuse to award the prize to, anyone in breach of these rules.
