Valdano in Dortmund to speak to Sneijder
Real Madrid general director Jorge Valdano has reportedly flown to Germany to speak to midfielder Wesley Sneijder about the possibility of joining Inter Milan.
The playmaker has made 52 league appearances - netting 11 times - since joining the Madridistas in 2007.
However, following the expensive acquisitions of Kaka, Cristiano Ronaldo, Karim Benzema, Alvaro Arbeloa and Xabi Alonso, Real are open to offers for Dutch quintet Sneijder, Rafael van der Vaart, Arjen Robben, Roysten Drenthe and Ruud van Nistelrooy, while Klaas-Jan Huntelaar has already joined AC Milan.
Sneijder - who has been capped 53 times by his country - has been linked with moves to Chelsea, Arsenal, Tottenham Hotspur, Aston Villa and Inter, with the Nerazzuri believed to keen on recruiting the midfielder as a replacement for stricken Argentine Esteban Cambiasso.
According to La Gazzetta dello Sport this week, Real are willing to drop their asking price for the playmaker from €20 million to €15 million, paid in three seperate instalments.
And with Inter happy to match Madrid's demands, Valdano has, reports AS, flown to Dortmund where Real are playing a friendly on Wednesday evening, to speak face to face with Sneijder about a move to the San Siro.
