Tottenham Hotspur midfielder Luka Modric has rubbished reports linking him with a move to Manchester United this summer.
The 23-year-old has made 37 league appearances for Spurs since arriving from Dinamo Zagreb a year go, scoring three times including the winner against Chelsea in March.
And the playmaker's form has led to reports claiming that Old Trafford supremo Sir Alex Ferguson was preparing to offer Harry Redknapp £10 million plus former Tottenham midfielder Michael Carrick for the Croatian international.
However, Modric has moved quickly to quash any talk of him leaving North London so soon, having helped Spurs achieve their best league start since 1960.
"I don't know anything about the Manchester United link," he told told Sportske Novosti.
"I read about it in the newspapers, and one paper even published quotes from me saying I was happy to be on Sir Alex Ferguson's radar.
"But the truth is that I didn't say anything to anybody about this. They were not my words.
"I feel great at Tottenham and I have given no thought to moving to a different club. My contract runs until 2013 and I am just thinking about staying."comments
