AC Milan closing in on Agger
AC Milan are closing in on the signing of Liverpool defender Daniel Agger for £7.5m, according to reports. The Danish centre back is said to have an escape clause in his contract that would allow him to leave Anfield over the summer, though the club denies the existence of any such clause. Contract negotiations between Agger and Liverpool have broken down over recent weeks. And with the player’s agent Per Steffensen being spotted having lunch in Milan with Ariedo Braida, the club’s sporting director, it appears a move to Milan is now a genuine possibility for the Dane.
