United’s enthusiasm for Sancho was said recently to have waned, given the strong form of their 19-year-old forward Mason Greenwood. But Sancho has reportedly asked his agent to secure the move this summer, having been disappointed that it failed to pan out last year.

Frank Lampard heads the list of contenders to replace Roy Hodgson as Crystal Palace manager, the Daily Telegraph reports. Hodgson’s contract expires at the end of the season and Palace are contemplating a change. Lampard has been out of work since being sacked by Chelsea in January. West Ham and Arsenal are interested in Slavia Prague’s 19-year-old striker Abdallah Sima, the Evening Standard says. The Senegalese forward was instrumental in Slavia’s impressive progress in the Europa League this season and is said to be keen on a move to the Premier League.
