Premier League clubs discuss curtailment of season for first time

Premier League chief executive Richard Masters says curtailing the 2019-20 season was discussed by top-flight clubs for the first time at Monday’s shareholders’ meeting.

He also revealed there is an “ongoing dialogue” with the Government and other authorities about finishing the Premier League season at neutral grounds, as it was reported that the league would ask again to be able to finish the campaign on a home-and-away basis.
