ATHENS - Lomana Lua Lua has returned to Olympiakos on a six-month loan deal, the Greek club confirmed on Thursday.
The 29-year-old Congolese former Newcastle and Portsmouth forward, who spent the 2007/08 season with Olympiakos, signed an agreement with the option of a two-year contract should he impress at the Piraeus club, who are coached by former Brazil international Zico and have reached the last 16 of the Champions League.
"I should never have left the club and I want to start where I left off," Lua Lua, who spent last season in Qatar with Al-Arabi, told the club's website. "I'm very happy to be back here and I will do everything I can to help the team win the title."comments
